Why Soy wax ?
Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource. Soy wax is biodegradable and cleans up with plain old soap and water. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and because of this, soy candles will burn slower or longer than paraffin wax.
How to get the most out of your candle.
Candles have a memory - So do not blow out your candle until it has melted the entire first layer of wax. This can actually take a long time, so make sure when you light, you’re willing to hang around and enjoy the candle for a while. Blowing it out before it’s at this point will cause tunneling (that little dip that causes the wick to fall deeper and deeper into the center of the candle). You’re doing your candle a disservice, and wasting half of the wax.
 Trimming wick
If the tip of your wick starts to look like a mushroom, please cut this little bit off.
You can use small beauty scissors or a nail clipper to get inside that narrow opening, but it’s crucial you trim the wick every time you light ( if it is looking like a mushroom.
The trimmed wick will give you a cleaner and brighter burn and will prevent those unfriendly dark smoke stains on the edges of the glass jar.
